Damn kids these days. And damn cars too! Why, back in our day cars were made out of steel, even the interior. None of this damn plastic! And computers running cars? Heck, we didn't have computers. We used slide rules!!!

And what's all this garbage about a green planet and gas mileage and stuff? That's all a bunch of hooey and gobbledygook!!!! Why, back in our day no one cared about miles per gallon. You used gas, you bought gas, and you even got S&H Green Stamps too! That's what green meant back then.

Where was I? Oh yeah . . . back in those days cars were real cars, and men were real men, and women knew their place, and . . . oh . . . never mind!

Hey! Look at me when I'm talking to you!

Now go wash up for supper, while I smack some sense into that mother of yours.

Betty-Sue?!?!?! Where you hiding!?!?!?!?!

Apart from some freaky, specially prepared, magazine cars, all those old muscle cars ran 15's, 14's and 13's at best.
My truck make more power and is faster than plenty of those old cars.

Granted, you can't beat the looks but my old 69 Cougar was slow, noisy and had terrible brakes, steering and suspension.
And try to run new cars with those little skinny tires they had back in the day. See how much that slows them down..45ish years ago man more/better technology but there is still no replacement for displacement.
