So, I got a new body on, pics later.
Dad thinks my engine is putting out 20-22Hp, his friend who has had his engine on the dyno and my engine out pulls his. His puts out 23, so he is thinking I have 24-26 Hp.

Doesn't sound like much does it? But when the whole package (me included) weighs in at 375Lbs that right at a 16:1 P/W ratio.
I also see speeds of 50-65 depending on gear and track conditions according to lap time and known track size.

Thought some of you racers out there might enjoy this. I would love to have a car, but I can't take out four bolts and pack the engine around on a car.

Its a 6.5 HP block, stroked out, bored out. I don;t know much about this one, but I do know quite a bit about the flat head we are building, not gonna see anywhere near the same power though.

its a 1998 shadow TAZ! chassis, with a 6.5Hp animal block. I am running groved tires.

Starting monday we stripped it down, all new bearing and repainted the frame.
Built it back up from the ground (frame) up. pretty much everything but the frame is new.
Running grooved tires,dad doesn't have a tire rule so its ok, but any other track Ill have to swap to slicks.

Its pretty quick for a dirt track kart.

We had four opens last weekend including me, hopefully this weekend Ill have more.

It is kind of hard trying to get all the paper work done and everyone signed up and racing, when I am racing too.

But I am always fair as I can be to everyone, even though I race. No matter where I place in my heats I always start my self at the back.
