Talking Howdy from NV!

Hey all...

Just thought I'd say howdy to you all. :-)

I'm new to the F-150, so I thought I'd check out the forum to see what it's all about and see what I can learn from here and contribute as well. My last car was a 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra and it treated me pretty well, so I thought I'd try out an F-150.

Anyway, figured I'd attach a couple of pics. I just got the truck about a week ago and haven't taken any "pro" type pics yet, so these are off my camera phone. LOL However, at least I now have a truck again to take my sportbike to the track.

Hope to chat with you all more soon!
Mat

That's a good damn question, because I have no clue! LOL Someone else told me it may have been a dealer option because if you look at the decals and such, it looks like an original Ford type sticker. However, I've tried to look up info on it and I haven't found anything about it yet.

But the stickers don't look aftermarket or put on by someone (other than a dealer or the factory). I'm still trying to look into it. I've only had the truck for about a week now. LOL

I guess I'd have to see what someone else's stock 2003 XLT looks like and then maybe I can figure it out. I do have an electric sunroof, but I'm sure that's a normal option, but if I find out, I'll definitely post the info up because I'd love to know if it's something special, like a dealer option, or did the previous owner just find the decals somewhere and have them put on.

Thanks 88Racing! :-)

The Jake - Nope, no power pedals since it's a stick. However, here are some of the interior pics I took before...not sure if it will help or not. I could go out and take some with my point and shoot real quick, I guess. Just not sure what to take pics of. :-)

tarajerame - Thanks a bunch for the welcome. :-) Ya, that's what I figured too because I've never seen any list of options from Ford stating a Sportsman Edition.

Is there anywhere I can find out what dealer did the option and what it might include? This is the first time I've ever had something like this (a dealer optioned vehicle), so I'm not sure how to track it down. I'd love to be able to get more info on it and keep it with the truck (ya, it's an OCD thing. LOL).

I tried to do a specific search but all I kept getting was aftermarket Sportsman parts. But never looked to see if they were specific to any dealer, so maybe I'll check again.

the dealer who added the stickers would be the only one (if they kept a record)

That's what I figured. Any way to find out (by VIN or something?) on what dealer the truck originally went to and/or was sold at?
