Fall is here

Last night this tree in my front yard (I think it's a maple tree) had no brown leaves on it.

This morning, bam! Overnight about 1/4 go brown and some have already fallen.

The good news is that winter is coming.

The bad news is that shortly there will be half a kabillion leaves on my yard.

Have you learned how to work a rake properly yet?

If you watched AFV last night, you could clean up your yard like the one guy. He used is airboat on the trailer to get rid of the leaves. Took all of 30 seconds and his yard was clean. Not sure about the neighbors though.

Nah - we just cut 'em up with the lawn mower as they fall. All the leaves in the shrubs/plants around the house we just blow out onto the yard and then mow those too.

Works out pretty well.

(Coming soon, my new book, "The Inept Lazy Man's Guide To Yard Work".)
