I just threw up a bit in my mouth!!! 
I drive 130 miles a day back and forth and i can't even imagine what the cost would be.... someoneholdme
its on a friend of mines new (2010) f350 dually v10, single cab, 2wd auto. has a flatbed with welders and generators and all that stuff on it. he works in the pipeline industry (or maybe its oil field) and idles it alot.
the sherrifs truck here (2009) f250 4 door, short bed, 4x4, auto, 5.4 reads 8.5mpg. all he does is idle it when his jailers are out working in the heat, he sits in the AC and watches

Not so fast!
This was right after I bought it. Turns out it had a bent rod. About 3 grand later I now get about 13mpg haha
