I learned respect, accountability and responsibility from my old man, absentee parents make for ungrateful kids. Even my brother is/was the same way (just turned 21) but since he's learned things the hard way, he's starting to come around more. The attitudes of today's youth for the most part sucks, I'll give you that. But at some point you gotta say to yourself, the dumb **** parents that made/raised these kids had the opportunity to raise them right and ultimately failed.

Personally, I'm all for this baggy pants law. They already implemented it in Flint, this is old news in MI.

I don't want my 6 or 3 year old having to voluntarily see this in public. TV exposure to the human body is one thing, something I can control. My family deciding which breakfast cereal to buy in the grocery store with Homeboy standing there in boxer shorts and pants that serve the purpose of leg warmers, is an entirely different story IMO.
YES the parents are partly to blame and i could not agree with you more!!. But there comes a time when these young adults have to buck up and make a life for themselves without any handouts, work hard and play hard and you shall be rewarded. The parents in item 1 gave them kids whatever they wanted and did not prepare them for life.....

Ya know what started this "trend"? Prisons around the US started issuing one size fits all clothing and all the young thugs walked around with the baggy pants, when they got out they were so used to it that they still wore their pants that way. So in essence, the youth of our country are emulating a bunch of convict thugs. Yeah that's a good plan.

I agree! While there are a few individuals that are not lazy, the greater share of today's youth expect everything handed to them without question. It's sad

When I see people like the OP and the majority of today's kids and they way they act and want everything handed to them without working for it, I am reminded of one of the best lines in a classic movie:

Gunnery Sgt. Hartman in "Full Metal Jacket": "Did your parents have any children that lived? I bet they regret that."

Today's youth: Why abstinence and contraception should be taught in school.

Baggy pants laws? That's just CRAZY! Won't it make it harder for the law enforcement to catch some of these young uns when they are stealing things they are too lazy to work for if their pants actually fit? Really? Have you ever seen someone trying to run with their pants hangin 3" below their butt?

Im gonna actually add to this thread now.

Im what you would call a person of the young generation. 21

People like the OP scare me to death. He is probably no less than 4 years younger than me and thinks hes gods gift to the world.

You have alot to learn my friend.

First of all wearing your pants down to your *** is not only disrespectfull it deserves an *** whooping. You look like a fool and you have no respect for anyone around you doing so.

Might be the training we get with the Marines but I cant stand back talking little wash out kids that think like that. Mostly its kids that are from a bigger city and want to run their mouth about "where they come from, what they think they have done" blah blah blah.

We had new private come in that thought he was theeeee crap. "Im from the bronx dog" He thought he could tell my Gunnery SGT what was up.

Gunny says "(last name of the kid!) Get your ********* A** over here" "Where are you from?" Kid: "The bronx Gunnery Sergent" Gunny: "The bronx! I bet you think your one hot piece of *** huh? Think you've seen crap huh?! Think your baggy pants and rap music is something huh?! WELL I GOT NEWS FOR YOU, YOU LITTLE PIECE OF ****, I WILL ******* KILL YOU!" I WILL RIP YOUR ******** HEAD OFF!, DONT YOU DARE COME IN HERE AND DISRESPECT ME OR THE OTHER MARINES HERE!" He went on for a bit more and by the time he was done the kid was almost crying for his mom.
(slightly edited for forum posting lol)
Thats what kids who think like the OP need to go deal with. They're all the same.

Whiny little cry baby kids that want everything handed to them, think they're crap dont stink, Wear theyre pants low, hats turned to the side looking like idiots, Treating their parents like crap and having no respect for authority. And knowing next to nothing about the country they live in. OP showed this by blamming bush for everything wrong in this economy.

My suggestions OP. Go learn something, pull your pants up, open a book and learn about your forefathers, Turn on some music that isnt about drug use, abusing women and crime, Then apologize to all the people that you've already screwed over in your life.

Thanks bud

OP Tell your friends to pull their pants up too

Cheaper solution---

make the idiot by a belt---beat him with it, then tighten the sucker around his waist until he has trouble breathing---then make him wear it like that for about two weeks.
