Same here, sorry to say. I knew the Republicans were in trouble when they nominated McCain.

Don't complain if you voted for him.

When i go to vote, I always vote for the lesser of two evils. That's why I DID NOT vote for obama. For you retards who voted for him and are disappointed in him, do some research next time before you vote. Just my 2cents

Where's the hope, where's the change?

At the end of the day, I just hope I still have change in my pocket.

McCain would have won had he not selected that dumb inbred from Alaska who couldn't pass an economics or history test.

And I would highly doubt anyone would say what is quoted from the OP

Actually, McCain was behind in the polls until he picked Palin as his running mate. And after that he was 1-2 percent ahead of Obama in the polls, until Lehman Brothers was 'conveniently' sunk by regulators in September.

Lehman actually had about 2 billion dollars in derivatives saddled onto their balance sheet from JP Morgan Chase, which of course Lehman could not survive. Today, JP Morgan Chase is the leader in derivatives trading. http://firedoglake.com/2010/05/30/gr...wolf-jpmorgan/

Of course, since Bush was still president and McCain was the republican and this mess happened while he was pres., the media made it seem as they were one. Needless to say, Obama climbed in the polling.

There was a lot of underhanded deals going on in the financial messes of 2008. Do some research into why Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, etc. *failed*. Here's a hint: You will find JP Morgan Chase and Obama's favorite, Goldman Sachs' fingerprints all over it.

Don't get me started on the bailouts...

Bush did perfectly and left office with no problems, shoes thrown at him, or calendars created of his most famous phrases.

I agree that there were major issues in housing lending and markets that were peddled off for years because the markets continued to grow under false pretenses. However, Palin added to McCain's lead at first only because of her statue as a new political figure, female and from a smaller locally run type environment. After she opened her mouth a few times is when McCain took a huge slide in the polls. I concur that Obama has several economic advisers that need to be fired as they were part of the entire housing market and derivatives mess. I just don't understand how a sane person could back a political figure like Sarah Palin after all she has said over the last few years regarding foreign policy, foreign governments and her lack of knowledge of just about everything in the real world.
