Didn't Whitacre go on tv a couple months ago saying GM had paid all of it's government loans off? He must have been cast in the same mold as Obama.

Even if they paid every cent of their quarterly profits to the government loans, thats still only 5%.
BTW...that report a few months ago about how GM had repaid all of it's government loans was all smoke and mirrors. They repaid their initial loan....WITH ANOTHER GOVERNMENT LOAN! All they did was switch some paperwork around; no actual money from GM was repaid, but the media went crazy with it and made all headlines sound like they were in the green again and everything was just fine and dandy. Not!

Yup, that was my point. Someone really needs to develop a sarcasm font.

Something that really pisses me off is knowing they owe the government billions of dollars yet they have money to donate to political organizations.

Let's not forget this overlooked piece of information from GM last week:

GM to Build New Vehicle at Plant in Mexico
Will invest $500 million at plant in Ramos Arispe...

http://www.industryweek.com/articles...ico_22462.aspx

It's so wonderful that they decide to build in Mexico after "We the taxpayers" were FORCED to bail them out. The US has more jobs than they can handle right now anyway.

Jobs picture dims as unemployment claims rise

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories...MPLATE=DEFAULT

In case you don't want to read the whole article, here's all you need to know:

The government's July jobs report, released Friday, showed that the economy lost a net total of 131,000 jobs last month. Excluding the impact of the elimination of 143,000 temporary census jobs, the economy added a meager 12,000 positions, as layoffs by state and local governments almost canceled out weak hiring by businesses.

But "it is illegal aliens that are stealing American Jobs" it is more like "Americans took YOUR JOB, they took it down to Mexico!"

I know a lot of you hate Michele Moore but I understand you, the truth always hurt, such as he proves in this video, "The awful truth"

Michael Moore is a dolt. I weep for anyone who intentionally watches or listens to his blowhole spew. It's a shame freedom of speech protects his idiotic ***.

That's laughable.
The guy who says the earth was created 6,000 years ago is calling someone else idiotic

So Freedom of Speech should only protect your idiotic views and beliefs, and not anyone who dares to disagree with you?

Now that's really funny. Oh well, I'm on ignore, Stealth won't see my reply anyway

Can't say I'm a fan of Michael Moore either, and it looks like he's going to have some competition coming out this fall.
