yea I got it all off the paint ... still have to work on the windows a little. I just talked to my wife and there were like 6 other cars involved that I didn't see this morning.

I was about to say get that stuff offf now! Once that etches in the paint its there forever. Looks like you did though, someone would be signing their death lease doing anything like that to my truck. My truck will go into storage and be waiting for me when I get out

 

At least it was just oil. Some thing simular happened to a friend, except they used brake fluid and battery acid mixed, ( that is what we think) It really messed up the paint. it was all bubbled. It was not that polly stripper paint remover.

 

At least it was not brake fluid. That stuff will destroy a paint job in no time.

 

why can't people have more respect for someone's property? i hate people who have to destroy property just because they can't afford it. i had a K5 Blazer that was my project (fairly nice rig) get vandalized while i was off working in ND...windows smashed, paint damaged...i was one mad mofugger!

Ok, from the title of this thread, I thought the OP was gonna say it was his burfday and momma was sitting on the side of his bed nekkid with a 'come hither' look in her eye, or , she bought him a new truck. (But she was still nekkid, regardless)

I was in school one day when some people threw paint ***** onto my truck and a few others. I went to the sheriff's office and and told him to fry em but make sure I dont find out(I already suspected who it was and knew I'd find out quick). He chewed them up but they came by where I worked and started throwing stuff on the ground. Used "alternative persuasion" to get them out but haven't seen them since and they never touched my truck again.

sucks they won't find them....eventually they will get caught for being assclowns like they are..

I hate people that do stupid stuff like this...its not funny and doesn't make you "tough" for throwing someone on someone else's property...

If they do find them, hopefully they make them pay for the environmental cleanup to decon your parking lot and storm drains....unfortunately after dealing with the courts for so long I would only assume a couple hours of community service and a couple hundred bucks in court fines.

 

I did too! But I do everyday since I was 12...

Anyway, sorry bout the truck man, I dont think oil will actually hurt the paint, just need to go through a car wash a few times as it will be hard to get off.
