Had Interview for Nuclear Security Officer position

So a friend of mine told me about a Security officer position at the North Anna Power station here in Virginia. She works in the training dept. and told some supervisors about my experience as a correctional officer and said they were interested in me putting in my resume and application. So later on that day I applied for the position and about 5 hours later I received a phone call from one of the supervisors for an interview. So an interview was set-up for two days follow. Yesterday was my interview, I feel it went well, I met with the first guy and asked questions to make sure I felt comfortable with the job and what they looked for in somebody applying for the position. Then the #2 security guy came in and asked me some questions. Over all I feel I did the best I could do, really hoping I get the call next week for the job offer!

Anybody work at a nuclear facility?

They showed me all the background searches they do, as well as ill have to get a psychological test, and have never been through one. Can anybody tell me what these are like??

They may ask for references, choose them carefully.

I had a co-worker use me as a reference.
They called me and the questioning went on and on.
I finally had enough, the caller asked what was the comment I heard most in the workplace about my co-worker.

I said, "Look out! He's got a knife!"

I once worked for this little security outfit. They didn't call us guards though.

My only advice would be that if you get that job, keep on eye on that Homer Simpson character -- I don't know what it is, but something ain't right with that dude.....
