Canadian Earthquake!

How we doing all you folks in Canada?

Did you feel the earth move?

Property damage?

Clothing soiled?

Report in please?

(You too Bucky, looks like some of the northern states felt it.)

Some felt it around my neck of the woods, in Central NY.

I didn't though.

My cousin in the suburbs of Toronto felt it. She said it shook her while she was sitting on her couch. Funny thing is she's going on Vacation to California in a week or so.

I live about 135 miles from the epicenter or whatever you call it.
There's a quarry 3 miles down the road, and occassionally when they blast, I can feel it.
Yesterday I'm down in the basement and I feel what I think is just another blast, but then it kept going and going, I thought the roof was going to cave in! %$@#^%.

It was the first time I've ever experienced anything like this before. For you guys who own a travel trailer, you know the feeling you get when you walk from the front to the back of yout trailer when it's not supported on jacks? That's what my entire house felt like. The house just wobbled and shook.

Nothing fell of the walls or anything but send this back to California where it belongs. At least there they are used to it, we're not.

The foundation for my house had to be blasted out of solid limestone, so I think that's why I felt it more than some other people up here.

Now I need to do laundry because I soiled my shorts but wifey is still out of town and I'm not sure how to work the washer. The bachelor thing was cool for a few days, but now she needs to get her *** home and clean the place up

Habs, with the house shaking that much, I have to ask.

Did the Teddy Bears survive or were they knocked to hell on the shelves?

I was very surprised to see this on the news.

Calgary is on the opposite side of the country in the west so I did not feel a thing.

I am sure that Buckdropper helped with the clean-up of the Teddy Bears...

He raced right over wearing only his french maid outfit and bent right over picking up all the fallen bears.
He was sorely disappointed because I didn't fall for the bait .... "again".

Poor Buck had to drive home empty handed again.

That image has now been seared into the retinas of my mind...no amount of counseling will ever help me.

The end of the world must be near if Canada is getting earthquakes!!! They are such a nice nonviolent country!

I have lived near the New Madrid fault line all my life and been through several minor tremors. They happen around here pretty often though not everyone feels them. I can be an interesting sensation when your house starts to shake!
