Drove one a long time ago.. 67 F100 if I recall... Isn't 1st gear, pull toward you and up. Second is down from there and then 3rd is push it forward and up? Reverse would have been forward and then down?

We had a 66 Fairlane when I was a kid and it had the 289 in it with a column shift.. I never got to drive that one, but I would sit on Dad's lap and steer it around the neighborhood!
