PLug removal tool
PLug removal tool
I am about to tackle the plug changing job And was wondering if anyone had suggestion on places to try and find the plug removal tool for rent. I have tried Autozone and Oreilly neither had one. I would like to have a back up plan incase i break one.
Thanks

I have not heard of a spark plug removal tool just lots of extension long and shour and some universials will help. I took mine in was 149.95 with plugs (a 97 4.6)
I am actually talking about the tool designed to remove the broken peice of the plug if one of the plugs breaks. Lisle65600 is one of them, But i would rather rent one than buy one if i need it.
Thanks

Guys, he has the 5.4 with the two piece plugs. They will break if youdon't have the Lisle tool handy. If you have it, they usually all come out. LOL Totally different plug from the 4.6 and 2v 5.4s.

Is that RB8720 the part number for the tool? If not, what is? I tried to search for it at NAPA's website but their search engine is a piece of junk.
No, that is the posters signature, his name.

Thanks. I was hoping for the NAPA number since I have a NAPA dealer only about a mile from me. I could check ahead of time to see if they stocked it and if so, wait to get the tool until after I broke plug, assuming I tried to tackle the job myself (I live in a mobile home court and we aren't allowed to do automotive work there although I have cheated a little in the past).
