Wiring a trailer
Wiring a trailer
Anyone know a good place to get 14/7 trailer wire or cable? I am re wiring my car hauler, due to faulty wiring. I have looked on ebay and have found some but just wanting some other options. Also any tips on the re wire?
Home Depot/Lowes would be the best bet. For most testing applications a simple 9V battery and you can test the lights after wiring them. Make sure you have a good ground on the trailer. While not bright as day, you can tell if they work without the lenses on. Or if you have an old but good small tractor battery or car battery sitting around even better.

when I did my trailer I staggered wires, electrical taped them as a bundle to the old wire cluster, sprayed the conduit heavily with spray lube and pulled like hell. maybe yours dont have conduit but if it does, that may be what you'll wind up doing too.
