Second marriage anniversary is cotton or straw.

Maybe a shopping spree for new cotton stuff (clothes, linens, etc.)?

Or a long lazy hayride on the weekend sounds like a good idea.

How about a surprise getaway, kinda like another honeymoon? Make reservations for a weekend at a nice resortlike hotel with some nice amenities in the room (or suite, if you can afford that), like a hot tub or spa (again if it's in the old budget) or somewhere nicer than where you live. Then "kidnap" her on Friday and have a nice weekend. My ex did that for me once on our anniversary and after that, we would do it when ever we could afford it (which wasn't often) and could find someone to ride herd on the kids.

Take her to a nice quiet B&B for the night or weekend, chicks (most) really dig B&Bs
