Looked like the driver of the car wasn't paying attention when they went around the corner because when the road curved they kept going straight. Then they probably looked up, saw big tires rolling a foot from their nose and over reacted then over corrected. The car probably made that truck's tire turn more than the truck driver did.

Odd, I wonder if the car had a steering failure? Even after the crash, he veered back into the wall.

just a female driver who over corrected. the impact caused some sort of damaged to that front wheel. No driver (big truck) in their right mind would jerk it that hard.

Probably texting. There have been more head on collisions on I-10 in the last few years than since they opened the interstate here in the 70s.

That's my first thought. I see more single vehicle accidents these days than I have in 20 years of commercial driving. People just drive off the road at curves, or drop right off the shoulder. 4-wheelers aren't the only ones trying to text and drive. I see other truckers doing it, too. It's more dangerous than drinking and getting behind the wheel. IMO
