I had to re-register because when I tried to logon with '02xlt' it appears that account does not exist any longer. I have been a member for almost 10 years and while I do not frequent the boards as often as I used to I try to logon at least once every 5 to 6 months. Did something happen to the database at some point where some data may have been lost or something? Just curious. Kind of bummed.


EDIT: I can see my account if I do a search for forum posts. Uggh

 

You should try pm one of the mods and see if they can do anything.

maybe something will kick off on your associated e-mail account?

 

If he hits forgot password, it should shoot an email off to the registered email account.

I'm likely gonna say he don't have his old email account. Or else during the upgrade something changed.

That's my guess.

 

I send a PM to Rockpick and my email address is the same as it was way back when I registered. When I enter it I forget the exact message but it is something along the lines of not valid or in the system. Thanks for the replies guys I will wait to see what Rockpick says.

 

ooops!!! Well I don't know how I forgot to try the password I just tried. And wouldn't you know I did have an old email address that does not exist tied to this account. Now my problem is that my good email address is tied to 'brisimon'. Hopefully Rockpick can delete that account so I can use that email address with this account. Sorry for the trouble mods.

 

It seems to be fine and shows that you have accessed it successfully.

brisimon is locked.

 

It says my email address I want to use is in use currently. (brisimon account) when you says it is locked does that mean it will not let you delete the account so that my email address will be released? Thanks

 

I removed the email from brisimon. Try it again. You may have to log off, and log back on.

 

It didn't work but I will just try again tomorrow. There may be a database job that hasn't run yet to purge the account information. Thanks for the help.
