Time to start putting mouse traps out in the garage with some cheese. I bet it is one mouse that is doing it...

Moth *****, They hate them. Put them in a bag, hang in a place that will not get wet.

That's a rat leaving a sinking ship.

Yes, I have that problem, and I can tell you from experience. They prefer GM over Ford. The ultrasonic doodads that you can plug in the wall help in a garage. I also duct tape rat poison on the fender wells. and put it in places my pets can't get to. I live in the woods, and mice and rats are a big problem. So we recently added some outdoor cats to the arsenal. But I think they are turning into pets, so they may not help the rodent problem.
I have a big wooden cabinet under a carport and I opened the door on it recently and saw three pairs of eyes staring at me, So I got another ultrsonic thing and put it in that carport.
But my wifes Envoy gets more damage than any other car we have. The Chrysler has been left completely alone. One ford has had a nest. But that Envoy tastes damn good.

They still make good mousers even if they're pets and well fed. Cats are predators and will catch what moves. I have 2 cats that always have a food dish available and they're spoiled rotten. My older cat has caught 3 gophers in the last couple of days plus a couple of birds and my younger cat catches at least one mouse a day if not more. One tip, although male cats will catch critters and some make pretty good mousers, on the average, female cats are better.

Put in a squirrel feeder. That should keep the squirrels focused on the food and keep the focus from your stuff.

I have mixed rat poison with rolled oats and peanut butter. Press it into a ball or puck and leave it where the problem is. They seem to love the peanut butter and are gone shortly after. I had a real problem with squirrels getting into my attic and going down the chimney chase to the basement. Got him with food. Hide it from other pets though.

Yeah, just wait til they croak in your house. The smell is not good.

My parents had rodents of some sort in their attic before. It really stinks like death for a while when they kick the bucket.

The rat poison or warfarin dries them out from the inside, no smell that I could tell.
