Bolt removal Help

+1 on the impact tool. That's one of those tools everyone should have, you don't use that much, but your pretty happy you have it when you need it!

Looks like FX4sure is glad he has it, but I'm not so sure IT'S glad he has it. Looks like he's put that thing through the paces, look at the butt end of that thing. I've had one of theose for about 20 years and it's not MUSHROOMED like that thing!

I just took that picture off the internet. Mine is always put back in its package. Does look like someone had a hard time getting that bolt out !!

hammer and chisel will usually work. use a small chisel. place it in a position on the edge to get a bite and in the direction to loosen the plug. you could also drill a small hole in the plug next to the outer edge of it and then hit it with a hammer and center punch or drift. make sense what i am trying to say?

You'd think a jet mechanic would know, there is always something else in the way, especially with all "those sphetster valves an crap on jet engines" (Chevy Chase)
