Anyone notice how old some posts are and then a answer a year later?

It is just me or has anyone else noticed how some discussions are way old and then you will see someone answer or reply to a post that is years old? I just thought that was funny.

I was reading several posts over the last few months and then I would take note of the date posted after reading several pages, and then I just laugh and say "Oh Crap, this was posted way back when?

Actually I think it is good people are using the search function and pulling them up instead of starting new threads on the same stuff over and over again.

Oh, I use the search all the time but even just reading some recent posts and then noticing the time frame is halarious. I have almost posted myself to answer some of the questions and then I noticed the basic discussion was from a years ago. I was recently reading on what magnaflow to buy and noticed the conversation was from 03 so then I thought "heck, dont even know if they make that muffler anymore". lol

Thats funny. I was reading on here the other day and really enjoyed the posts and thought I would join in until I saw last post in 09, and the post before it was like in 06. I felt stupid. Seems some of these conversations go on and on and on for years. lol

I'm guilty of that, I rather search than post

i like it when people start a new post to add to their post just above it. makes me wonder what that edit button is really for. haha

Sometimes when your searching, you can find a thread that never got a proper answer. I've posted in one that was a couple of months old before. But no one had answered the Guy's question. He was a newb, and I'm sure he had given up or gone to a mechanic by then, but no one had helped him.

Some of the more kind folks here helped me out by letting me know it was an old thread. I felt good for helping the Guy out, but~~~:o~~~
