Kubota BX2200

Well I got my diesel back... kinda... I got a nice 2003 BX2200 diesel tractor with a 60" mid-point mower and brand new 48" front loader. I also got a 1 year powertrain coverage on it too. It's only got around 650 hours on it as well. It's got the bar tires too for superior traction too.

They are doing some service on it to prep it for me so I can get it this week.

It's a really nice tractor.

Will post pics when I get it.

I like the engines Kubota chooses... they stick with what works.

I've never heard of any one complaining about Kubota tractors. They might not be the prettiest looking, but they get the job done with no fuss.

My neighbor has a NH TC30 and it had nothing but problems... mostly with the seals on the hydraulic pump and various engine problems and he barely uses it.

Well... I got it today... man... they did way more than I expected them to. The dealer did such an excellent and careful care to this tractor it isn't even funny.

I even gave the salesman a $50 tip for being honest, truthful, and helpful in what he did for me.

They even delivered it for free and took the time for me to test it out and make sure it was functioning perfectly when I got it.

I give White's Farm Supply in Canastota, NY a 5 star rating for sales, service and support for the loyal customer.

I put about 6 hours on it today in 90F temperatures, and all was well. I mowed my 8" grass with no even a strain from the engine. It's awesome!

I'll post some pix tomorrow.

I've got an older Kubota L series. It is/was, my Dad's, so it didn't cost me much other than some of the maintenance I've done and parts I've bought over the years.
I don't remember the hp rating on it, but one the the peculiar things about it. The drive shaft to the front axle goes right down the center of the oil pan. So when you change the oil on it, you have two drain plugs.
Not important, but it did trip me out the first time I changed oil on it.

We have a 65 horse FORD 1980 model with front end loader, it has around 9000 hrs on it and has never been in for work. We change the oil and filters and keep it lubed up and it works like a champ. We just bought a 95 horse Turbo John Deer backhoe that was built in 02 and it is really nice it has the joystick controls and its really easy to run.

Interesting. Never seen that before.

What I do find pretty cool is the engine used in my particular tractor is also used in a Kubota Diesel Motorcycle.

Aside from that... the power of this tractor is insane... I used the bucket to scrape a 4" deep area for one of my barn doors to open more easily. It made 30 minutes of work turn into 2 minutes. I just used 4x4 and high range, and all was well. It was like that ground had no chance.

The mower deck on it is precise in how it cuts. It is extremely even and it's just the right size for my yard.

As long as you take decent care of them... they usually last a long time.

My Dad's tractor has a Brushhog loader on it. I swear that Man has moved thousands of cubic yards of red clay with it. We have a fairly good size tract of land,he lives on one side and I live on another. e had a revine close to his house, and he moved a whole hill and fill in that revine. We then planted more trees on it. But he whittled it down one bucket load at a time with that Kubota. The ole loader and frontend on the tractor is still hanging in there.

I got 6 yards of mulch and did my front yard, sides, and back of my house with it.

Here's a picture of the beast in action:
