Did the GT have the 4.6 or the new 5.0?

 

Honestly... The Camaro had a higher mph at the 1/8, and looked like it feathered out of the hole. Not exactly a conclusive run. They should be very close performance-wise.

 

The title of the video said it was a 2011 w/5.0

 

All drag races I've seen between these two cars have the mustang killing the camaro. Shoot, it was barely slower 0-60 when it had the 4.6. Now with 100 more hp than last year's model, it scoots! 0-60 in 4.3 vs. the camaro's 4.7. That's a pretty big margin

to add: where are you seeing the camaro with the higher mph? It says mustang @ 87 mph and camaro at 79 mph.

 

Dont worry, the 4.6 is still a turd at the back of the pack

my buddy with a nbs camero ss said hes been waiting for the 5.0 mustang so hell have some actual competition.

 

I have driven a number of the new ss's and I thought those suckers were really quick. If that mustang is smoking it like that then that mustang was flying. Those camaros make me feel like my truck accelerates like a prius

 

 

I fixed that issue with my truck, problem is now my rear axle feels like a GM product

 

Did anyone else find the camera angles funny? the mustangs was in front facing back and the Comaro had a camera in back facing forward, haha like it was predetermined that the mustang would be ahead, but i never had any doubts, that new 5.0 is a killer

 

"Accelrates like a Prius"? You must have one fast truck! Is it like the Prius in that it accelerates at will?
