I support the second amendment. (gun pics)

My buddy chad and i went up to his family's cabin to do a little shooting a few days ago. had a good time and took care of a few pesky milk jugs.

the guns we brought

150 yard shot at a milk jug with iron sights, not too bad. put 3 rounds in it.

I hope that can of Busch was only used as a target. Alcohol and guns are a bad mix. Here are some of mine:

^ Smith and Wesson 629 .44 magnum Mountain Gun

^ Sig Sauer P239 .40 S&W

^ Smith and Wesson 3913 9mm

^ Smith and Wesson 638 .38 Special

How do you like the recoil of the M44 against your shoulder LOL? I love those little m38/44 carbines. I’ve bought a sold at least a dozen in the last 10 years. Is that a rugger dear field or a 10-22? I have a mint deer field I might be willing to sell almost NIB for like $1K made in 79 tube mag. Its crazy how that old 7,62x54r will keep up with that .223 16in barrel at 500yards lol. Cool I’m glad you had fun we need more responsible Americans taking up the sport these days. BTW there’s more liberal anti second amendment egg suckers running around here then you may know.

Nice collection.

I've always enjoyed a beer or two when I'm shooting. I don't see it as a problem. Like anything, it's a matter of moderation and having the proper skills to begin with. There are people I don't want to be around when they're holding a gun and stone cold sober and others that I have no problem with even if they have had a beer or two.

Fortunately, we have also have a President with sensible gun views. On February 22nd, 2010 he signed a new bill into law that allows loaded guns in National Parks and Wildlife Refugees (this doesn't mean you can shoot the wildlife for fun or sport, just that you can legally carry for protection). It's about time. Here's a brief local media story:

Since you started the thread I delt the need to jump in

Well since this thread just stated, LOL, I Picked this up in a trade yesterday. Have not torn it down yet but initial inspection looks good. Much heavier than I anticipated.

Springfield Micro 1911 .45ACP

Springfield Micro and RIA Officers model

CW45, Springfield and RIA officers All in 45 ACP of course.

I have an affection for small format handguns and anything in .45 ACP. The trades involved a couple of .22's so I am, at the moment, pretty pleased with it. I probably will not be able to get to the range until this weekend or sometime next week, to damn many projects going on.

And by the way I embrace my rights as well and have many more than are shown in these pic's.

Man...its addicting as hell. I got into NFA for the sole purpose to only suppress my P22 for killing armadillos that plague my yard...a year later I have 6 suppressors and a AOW shotgun. Its worse than buying guns

Spot on, I don't think I have ever shot skeet without a few brews. When I go camping, it is always a concious decision to go shoot at a certain time. If we have had to many, no shooting, pretty simple. Stumble down the range and rap off a few, never, but guns and beer are two things that ALWAYS need to be handled with respect and responsibility.

PS. Great shots OP, look like you had a great time!
