Pinched Nerve

Has any of you had a pinched nerve in the neck? What did you do for it, what kind of doctor (or possibly a physical theripist) did you see? I went to a chiropraactor, but I came out worse and in more pain.

I have this since February. It bothers my shoulder and I have trouble sleeping because of it. Any advise would be appreciated

Had several...when the nerve is "pinched" it cuts off the blood supply to that muscle. If you have someone that can message it out for a few days the blod flow will return and it will heal. But even tho you seem worse after the chiropractor they to realign your neck and spine and this relives pressure as well. A few trips there may be needed to solve your issue. I wouldn't expect it to be cured in one visit. I had a bad motorcycle wreck and it required several visits to get things in order again.

Dude, I hate to tell you, sometimes there is no immediatel relief. I'd got to a Neurologist if you haven't already. Don't go to a PM doctor, they will just give you meds that you may get hooked on.

Deep Tissue Massage from a licensed masseur or masseuse, along with proper chiropractic adjustments, and that pinched nerve will be good as new. Worked wonders on my pinched nerves.

You need to make sure it is an actual 'pinched nerve' first. A neuro would be good, a good physical therapist would be better than a chiro IMO.

First, you need to get an MRI. There is a possibility, that a Chiropractor could paralyze you.

I've had a bone fusion in my neck.
