Hey, sweet!... a non political thread!

I'm not much of a Golf fan\follower, but I'm not against Tiger as an athlete. Last I read he's -6 and carded a 70 today. Very much in contention.

Listening to a heck of a baseball game right now, my O's vs. the Blue Jay's.

I really dont care either way since I dont like golf but to me where he puts his pecker shouldnt have any bearing on how he plays golf.

People seem to get way too interested in who's screwing who these days.

I marvel at people who can play golf well. I get too frustrated, so I actually hate playing it. We received a phone call about joining a country club down the road, and I told the guy that I would rather be out riding my bike---if I played golf they would probably have to call 911 as I would have a stroke.

I actually make the movie Caddy-shack look like a serious drama when I play.

I will say that regardless of what he did, or what he is doing now, the people with the PGA are certainly glad Tiger is back...he is like the Yankees---either you love him or hate him, but you follow him.

I live right next to a PGA tour golf course. All my relatives play gold and have rooms full of trophies. I don't even think I own a single golf ball.
I hit a golf ball like a baseball.

I wasn't much of a Tiger fan to begin with. I would rather mickelson win. It's apparent michelson is playing to help support a lot of causes especially with his family having cancer. It appears Tiger was playing for something else...

Never have cared for Tiger. I don't care about his personal business, but he's a known big baby when things are not going his way on the course. It's funny that the sports' media protects him as much as the mainstream media protection for Obama. (Oh, did I turn this political. )

It's tough to be a white hetersexual male.

I like Phil Mickelson because we share the same exact birthday, and he's a badass golfer.

I'm pulling for Phil to pass up Westwood tomorrow and win by 2 strokes. I hope Tom Watson continues to play well also. 60 year's old and still play's great.

i love playing golf, and glad to see tiger back...i would like to see him win, but then again, i would like to see phil win...or westwood...it doesn't matter. if you play or have tried to play, you can really appreciate how bad *** ALL of those guys are. It is truly the only game (I wouldnt call it a sport), where it doesn't matter if your 16 (like that italian kid who made the cut) or 50 (freddie couples, who lead the first round), you have a shot at winning. Here's a kicker. Golfsmith (a golf store if you don't know) had a big deal all last week if you buy a callaway driver and Phil Mickelson wins, they will give you all of your money back. those new drivers can range from 250-500 bucks...So I guess I am hoping phil wins.

Man that's more than enough of a good enough a reason to root for Phil.

I picked up an older (before they changed the company) Orlimar hip ti 460cc driver and an Orlimar 3 and 5 wood off ebay for a very good price. Man that driver is good. I've never hit my drives so far, but I have also cured my slice with a swing change... Still happy though...

Yes I watched the whole thing on TV. Lazy day. Glad Lefty won, perfect round and had no bogeys even though he had some awful drives. That approach shot at 15 from the straw from under the pines was truly amazing. One of the best shots I've ever seen.

As for Tiger, I don't think the old Tiger will ever be back. I think he's back to Earth to stay.
