Thanks, everybody
I passed!

And my examiner even told me that the other DMV I went to before was known for failing people without good reason.
Said I passed flawlessly

funny story. when i took mine, we had to park in a regular parking spot. they have four cones, one in each corner. when i pulled in, my truck was too wide, i hit all four. it was pretty funny. the lady was laughing. i passed with a 30/30.

my little brother just took his drivers test also. he passed everything except for parking into the spot with the cones. apparently he hit one, which is rediculous because he was using my moms 7 series bmw with the radar sensor things all the way around that comes up on the nav screen and show you exactly where the objects are and how close in a 360 degree view. i gave him some grief for that one.

When I took my test, we pulled up to the 4-way stop and a guy coming from the cross direction flew right through it without even slowing down!! We were both like "HOLY CRAAP!!". Other than that it only consisted of a trip around the block and back into the parking lot. I failed the first time because the '69 f150 I was driving had a bouncing speedo needle and the lady said she couldn't tell how fast I was going. I went home, pulled out the speedo cable, greased her up, slid her back in and took the test again the next day. Passed.

Congrats.

Back when I took my license I messed up on parallel parking. The lady let me try aa second time and I passed.

My sister just took it a couple months ago and failed the first time for not checking blind spots.

I passed the first time. Drove a F-350 CC Long Bed 4x4. Just dont ask about parking, I made the guy almost **** his pants. I had to whip that land yacht in.

The one where you pull up past it and then back in or the parallel?
Either way...

Same thing happened with me on both. I got the parallel on the second go but that didn't fail me, apparently not looking over your shoulder into a pillar after checking your mirrors can make you fail. Who knew?

oh i loved taking the test..i did it in a...06 chevy Aveo thing. the parallel spot was about twice the size of the car. driving the little chevy was like riding a bike compared to riding a 1200cc chopper...when i first got my permit my mom threw me the keys to the suburban and said "your now my offical driver". and i drove that and my pickup so driving anything small is super easy.now i can drive anything, auto/man, big small, semis suck but i can get from point A to B.

I learned on my '99 F150 scab with a 5 speed manual. Took my road test and everything with it. I loved that truck... especially when I was the only 16 year old that drove a big 1/2 ton truck with a 5 speed manual.

Yea i thought it was pretty funny. and when i did my three point turn i rolled on the grass, my truck was too long. she said this was the biggest truck she had ever taken a test in. i didnt care. i was driving KW t600's with a ten speed and a 53' trailer at 16. i knew i wouldnt have an issue.
