Evil woman
What exactly is his first thought supposed to be?
The husband had been snipped. The wife apparently even lined up a co-conspirator/male buddy co-worker of the husband to act guilty, to help sell the 'joke'.
Sounds like his thoughts were exactly the ones she intended him to have.
And you are going to defend the wife?
I enjoy a good joke. This was not one. It was cruel and malicious.

The second thing he should have done was look at a calender.
[QUOTE=yellow stx;4163499] after about 2 1/2hrs of screaming phone callsQUOTE]
Tbird - Looks like he did call her.
Got any other defenses?
IMO, scaring someone about an unwanted/unintended pregnancy is just not funny, no matter what the calender says.
My guess is you have never had the experience of an "I'm late" conversation.
Then add "Here's medical proof I'm pregnant. We need to find out right away if your vasectomy has reversed. BTW, have you seen Bob around today? I need to talk to him and he's not picking up."
Yeah, that sure sounds like a GREAT Joke!

Happened to my brother, too. Same exact circumstances. 4th child 8 yrs after 3rd child and vasectomy. That's pretty wild.
My brother never went back to get his swimmers tested. So a word of warning to you that haven't been back to get checked. I got lucky. They tied my wifes tubes when the twins were born by c-section. <browwipe>

I guess you missed these two posts huh?:
Many married couples have found themselves expecting years after a vasectomy. Getting pissed off and stomping around like a child didn't accomplish much did it? Outside of making him look like an idiot. That's not how a rational adult acts.

He got pissed off because his wife raised the possibility she was carrying another man's baby. Believe it or not, that kind of news has been known to upset a man.
If 'many' married couples have kids years after a vasectomy, it is because they had a surgical reversal. Or, umm, it's not 'their' baby.
You can look it up - spontaneous reversal of a vasectomy is very rare. Accidentally fathering a child (proven by paternity tests) following a spontaneous reversal is extremely rare. Hit by lightning kind of rare. No matter how many times it 'really' happened to family and friends of people who post in this thread.
Much less rare is a man unknowingly raising another man's child.
Also not that rare is knowingly raising another man's child and simply not sharing that info with the world. Other kids and marriage to protect, etc...
BTW, my sense of humor works fine. Her 'joke' was not funny in any way.

Tbird69;4163999]The first thing he should have done was call his wife instead of flying off the handle.
after about 2 1/2hrs of screaming phone calls she texted him APRIL FOOLS!!!!
Obviously hasn't ever happened to you. Shoe fits a whole lot different on the other foot!
