If there ever were a case for the death penalty

This is a case where Christianity or this guys brand of it is every bit as dangerous as the Muslim Extremists that want to kill every American. Plain and simple terrorism.

Any of the protesters that were supporting this work of crap are accomplices and should be dealt with accordingly.

Abortion is a horrible thing and regrettably happens in our society. I could never abort a child but there are instances that it is a necessary evil.

Life with parole in 50 years really isn't quite enough for this guy!

Ever hear the old saying "The silence is deafening"?
& if you do hear anything, it will most certainly begin with a "Yabut".

Look where you're posting, this thread will die a quick death and be on page 17 by next week.

I'm not a fan of a guy who makes his living killing babies, and personally I won't miss him or the dude that punched his ticket, but that's not to say that Roeder can go and blow his head off just 'cause.

Scott Roeder is a murderer, and he got what's coming to him. He'll be 102 before he's eligible for parole, assuming he lives that long. Chances are he'll die in prison.

Dr. George Tiller is a murderer as well, IMO, and if there is a God he'll get what's coming to him.

At least Roeder only killed one person...........

Tiller should of had 100 or more life sentences.

Say what you will about abortion, its a choice. And I defend the option to have that choice. IMO males should have absolutely no say in abortions or their availability or legality. Its entirely the provenance of women.

TSRH. I'm not a fan of late term abortions, but it is a choice, and not mine to make for others. The guy that killed the doctor got what was coming to him, and should have had a harsher sentence if anything.

Neither one of them would rank very high on the list of "Earth's Best Human". I am about as Pro-Life as a person can get but I can not condone shooting a doctor in the middle of a church. From reading the article is seems the judge gave him the maximum sentence, I have been on several jurys before and understand how the judicial system works. The law has a minimum and maximum penalty for every crime committed, the judge and jury are bound by the law and can not give out more. I remember one case where a guy raped a young (~5) girl. Everyone on the jury wanted to take the guy outside the courthouse and hang him from the oak tree. However, the law only allowed for a maximum of life without parole so that is all he could get. Sometimes the laws suck but we are bound to follow them or work to have them changed.

If this is the case why then must a male pay child support it the baby is kept? It is not his choice to keep his baby but he has to pay for it if the woman wants to, how is this ok then? To me that line of thinking puts ALL the responsibility on the woman when it should not be. It takes two to make a baby and it takes two to rear a child.

You're right, it takes two to tango. But abortion laws should be decided by women and women only. As for child support, that's another issue. If you conceive a child and keep it, be prepared to be responsible for it.

yeah, but if the male doesn't want the child, but the woman wants to keep it, shouldn't she accept full responsibility according to your line of thought? it's ok for the woman to kill the man's child, but its not ok for the man to not support the woman's child?

I would rather have my woman decide what goes on inside her body than have the government take charge in there. It's between me and her and I want the government out of it. I wouldn't be that close to someone I didn't trust and who didn't respect me as well so in the end I'll man up to whatever decision she makes. If I was a woman I know I wouldn't want someone else making those decisions for me but I would certainly listen to what they had to say.

I see your point but I think that's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Just because the woman carries the baby doesn't give her sole right to kill it when she's not the only one who created it.

How would you feel if you had a GF or wife that had an abortion against your will? Lets say you wanted the baby?

Oh its only up to HER! She just killed your unborn son or daughter!

You'd have to be a dumbass to not see why it's on the couple to make the call, not just one person.

That pro-life soldier needs to get a pineapple shoved up his ***, and be forced to 'keep it'.

This is the same as gay marriage protesters. How in the hell does this concern anyone but the couple? People need to get a ****ing hobby instead of trying to shove their own ideals down everyone else's throat.

Let's not even get into the sheer irony of this "Pro-Life" murderer.

You guys are correct that these two guys are both scumbags and will both get theirs.

I have a different take on abortion though. There is a human life at stake for two idiots bad decision (in most cases). Pregnancy is proven to be a life from conception and nobody can argue otherwise. Abortion should not be a convenient form of birth control. Yes there are cases where it should be allowed and you all are smart enough to know what I mean, but for birth control purposes I think abortion is completely wrong, as in murder. There are plenty of people who cannot have children who would gladly adopt.
