What is a better deal?

I am looking for a new truck right now and I have come across two trucks that I think are both great deals. One is a 2008 King Ranch w/ navigation/sunroof 4x4 and all that with 48k miles. The price for this truck is $26k. The other is a 2009 (new body style) FX4 with black leather/ navigation/ sunroof etc and 22k miles. The price for this one is $30k. I like them both but which one is a better deal? Do you think that I will be losing any value anytime soon on either one of these? Thanks guys looking forward to the replies.

Kevin

That's a tough call, if they both check out mechanically I think it's wether you want to spend the extra couple thousand for the newer model.

I'd probably save the dough and take the much more classy King Ranch, put the extra 4k into some upgrades.

The 2009 FX is GROSSLY over priced. I'd beat the guy down on the KR. Hopefully, it's not the same dealership.

How are they such bad prices? Both of them are below NADA average trade in values. Neither of them are at a dealership they are both private owners.

You can get a new FX4 for that or less right now. I would check it out if I were you. The KR might not be a bad price, but do you need the KR, v.s. a new truck for a few thousand more and no miles?

My dad was shopping last weekend.
He currently has a 2006 Supercrew XLT 5.4L with 52,000 miles.
The best offer he could get for trade was $16,000.
He decided to just keep it.
