Orianthi

I'm sure people here have heard "According to you". This chick can flat out play. Puts Taylor Swift to shame. And shes freakin HOT! I'm definately getting tickets when she tours through here.

Shredding

Just wondering if anyone else had heard of her and their thoughts.

She's good.

A little too shreddy/emotionless, IMO, but she is very good.

Heard of her. No doubt she's good, but not my style. No heart. She's just up there playing without feeling.

She reminds me a lot of Yngwie Malmsteen. Technically proficient (actually, just flat out f**!@# good, she has a gift), but yeah, there's no feeling or heart in her playing.

BB King can say more with one bent string than she could in an entire concert.

Dang! That girl can play! It's been awhile since I've seen someone handle an axe like that. I'd put her in the same league as Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.

Looks like a sound check. Guy behind her was still setting things up. Maybe she has emotion in an actual show.

Very good looking and talented.
But I'll stick with Taylor

Carrie Underwood and Orianthi

According to you

Regardless if her music doesn't "speak" to you, her talent is hard to deny. Taylor Swift has proven to be nothing but corporate brand.

Taylor Swift= Target (Not as trashy as Wal-mart)

She's put on a bunch of weight lately and is looking pretty rugged. I think the drugs are catching up with her too.

Eh.... yeah she can play, but so can anyone that takes a guitar and cranks the sound, sensitivity, and overdrive way up.

I gave my brother a guitar and cranked everything up, he sounded like that and he was acting like a retard with a new 'first act' guitar.

Anybody can sound decent when they don't have a band or singer they have to keep time with. Put your brother in that situation and both of you will find out there's more to playing then just hammering the strings.
