Guns And Gold...

That is all that is going to be worth anything soon. I can't afford gold.. so I buy guns. This year I have bought, so far a Taurus .38 special ultralite revolver (In for warranty.. timing issue). A 1895 Marlin .450 Marlin cartridge (this thing is a monster. Shot 8 times, couldn't pull the trigger for nine IT HURTS). And yesterday picked up a S&W sigma .40 cal. I figure they will all hold there value better than other hard goods. And I can have fun target shooting and hunting besides. Guns I already have are a Mosin Nagant 91/30. Weatherby vanguard .30-06. Browning Auto 5 light 12 ga. (my favorite). Marlin model 60 .22 semi auto. A small useless .22 slide action. And a double barrel .410 shotgun.

Why not buy silver.....its cheaper per ounce then gold and wil also hold its value right next to gold. and its not only the guns that will hold its value...its the ammo. Ammo is going to be a commodity. sounds like jsut an excuse to start an arsonal. Good luck

Ammo will be the new gold. Your guns will make poor clubs without it.

A few months ago I sold ALL of my gold jewelry that I never wore. Got two new Glocks out of it. A G22 and G30. And yeah, right now, guns are worth more than the gold...the secret is just not out yet.

About a year ago, I stocked up on ammo. Still buying it every week when WalMart has it.

How about stocking up on food and clean water.
You only need two guns, a pistol and a good rifle, and ammo for both.
Then you need food and water.
Gold is worthless if there is no food to buy with it.

That is , if you think the end is here.

The first rule of investing is diversity.

Supply and demand dictates the value of guns and the supply will not be constrained anytime in the forseeable future. In fact, the world (and the U.S. in particular) is flooded with guns. The price will crash as soon as people need to buy food and are out of work. All those extra guns are going to flood the market. Remember the rule of supply and demand.

You have been warned.

While I'm no conspiracy theory guy, I don't believe anything that comes spewing from Obama's mouth. The worst is far from over IMHO. So the house is paid for, been buying silver and some gold for nearly ten years and suffice it to say I have plenty of guns to protect the farm. If I ever use all the ammo up I've been buying since the annointed one can into office, then there is more folks than me that will be in trouble. I just hope the ones that don't believe in firearms to protect themselves don't ask me if the need arrises. I will help anyone I can but can't guarantee anything to those that try to take it! God Bless the USA and the Constitution it stands on.

Facitious or not, that's ridiculous!

If the government is after your *** not even 15 four-inch cannons will help you. The government is not scared of your puny guns and they will not protect you from the government.

If you want REAL protection you need lots of money and good lawyers. I know it's sad but it's the American way.

Don't forget the guns - "Bring lawyers, guns , and money." - Warren Zevon lol

I bought my favorite shotgun for $ 300 in 1970 and it is worth $ 3,500 or so today. That's not bad.

I just picked up some more ammo today and will continue to do so every pay day. He who has the most ammo wins.

Well I am no conspiracy fear monger but I do have guns, and ammo, plenty of ammo. Today in fact I just picked up a New Sig 250 in 45 ACP. However I have guns for protection and because I love them just as any other fine tool. I do have a concealed carry permit and its seldom I don't have one on me, I dont fear anyone coming after my stuff or my family. As for the Government, well all I can say is that for the first time in my life I do question the motives of the leadership currently in office. However, as long as we can buy guns and ammo I will keep it up.

It's a Constitutional right to own and carry weapons. So I don't know why you say "as long as we can buy guns and ammo". It makes no sense to think you won't be able to.

Unless you've been listening to the wacko anti-Obama crowd who makes stuff up! Under Obama gun laws have been liberalized in Wilderness Areas and many states have liberalized gun laws as well.

The main reason guns were in short supply after the last election was because there was a big disparity between what people said Obama would do and what Obama actually did/said he would do. In otherwords, it was a big lie that Obama would take your guns away.

The fact that people believed the lie is what caused a run on guns!

You just don't pay attention do you? Obama and congress are definatly against guns. Give him more time with the progressives in office they WILL push for more gun control. I think they are waiting to get a few more liberal judges on the supreme court. Then all bets are off. You are much to trusting of big government. When inflation hits and unemployment doubles from what it is now, there is a good chance of an uprising.
