Have you been duped about Global Warming?

I know a lot of you are hard core nut jobs and won't be moved one inch, but for those with an open mind, here is the latest scientific summary about the current state of global warming:

http://www.giss.nasa.gov/research/news/20100121/

And for those who are more interested in bashing Al Gore, here are his latest thoughts. Those who are not interested can just keep their heads in the sand and hope their children and grandchildren have as nice of a place to live as we all grew up in:

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/28/op...28gore.html?em

Now is the proper time for all the ignorant and misinformed global warming deniers to start ranting about how global warming science is driven by greed, how it can't be proved and, even if it's true, there's nothing we can do about it.

I don't think many deny climate change. What people deny is that the reasoning for it being shoved down our throught via the media, and r-tards such as yourself taking it and running with it.

It's been said over and over, I don't need to go through examples. It's on yourselves to research and come to your own conclusion. My conclusion? You ARE an r-tard if you think we are responsible for it and can curb it, we're just a long for the ride.

People seem to forget all the popular scare-hype of the past years. Remember the O-zone depleting? The drinkable water depletion? Oil depletion? Media outlets think it's their job to scare you rather then play both sides of the story.

If I believed the bulk of what I read I would think global warming was a hoax so Al Gore could get richer.

Instead I read the scientific data and conclusions of the scientific commumity and compile it into my own conclusions.

But all I'm asking you to do is to keep an open mind and stay current with the latest scientific evidence.

I find it hard to believe the arrogance and blatant stupidity of the folks that buy off on Global warming as caused by humans. Back in the 80's a professor from Texas A&M spent several years studying the effects of the carbon molecule and how it effects the earths temps. She spent a lot of time in the Himalayas as they are the starting point for the worlds weather patterns. In her studys, she found that the earth goes thru a life cycle where the carbon is deposited on the mountains via rain and snow and then washed down into the sea where the sea temps then rise. It's the cycle that predicts the warming or the cooling of the earth. Most scientists and weather folks agree with her findings world wide. Only the alarmist will disagree with her and these are the people that are making the most noise. The actual carbon that effects the worlds weather is major by comparison to ALL carbon EVER produced by humans since the time of the caveman. Does anybody remember the ice age? Does anybody know that before the ice age, the arctic regions had forests?

What would you expect from NASA? They are under funded and need more of yer tax dollars. Global warming is a cash cow. Do I need to explain it more to you?

I would much rather believe a professor of world wide standing and a professional weather person than somebody standing there with their hand out waiting for the money they will surely get if they excite enough fools to believe their crap. Here's Joe Bastardi of Accuweather, an extremely knowledgeable and prominent professional about global warming. But he doesn't stand to make any money from it so you might consider him an unbiased individual:
http://www.examiner.com/x-219-Denver...warming-theory

Do we need to start an energy conservation movement? Of course we do. Is electric the answer? No, not now anyway. NASA is working on solar power that is transmitted to the earth via microwave energy. This holds to be a dandy source of energy but the technology is still in it's infancy. The quickest and cleanest way for us to get what we want, get it in a matter of a couple of years, and it would eliminate most of the garbage that is piling up in our landfills thereby killing two birds with one stone is bio diesel from bio garbage. I posted here a couple of years back about an engine with 1 cylinder, with 2 opposing pistons, 4 crankshafts, that was making 900 hp. It was also a zero emission engine meaning you could run it in your living room and not suffer any ill effects. There are several prototypes running and one is at a landfill in California where the bio garbage is being turned into fuel for this engine at the fill and the engine is making electricity. Unfortunately, the inventors who came up with this technology has been ignored by the same dumbasses in Washington that are screaming "global warming". Why would they ignore it? Power. Power over you and your tax dollars. The guys that came up with this engine design only want to spread it around, not make a killing from the patent rights. But the Washington crowd can't make any money from that.

"Have you been duped about Global Warming?"

Nope... knew from the start by the simple use of common sense that global warming is in no way caused by man. It is wonderful to have a brain.

Nothin soft core about you Real, a true hard core nut job. "It takes one to know one" They should have tatooed that across your forehead. I guess some of that scientific evidence was when your Marxist brother Obama stated that it was "settled fact" huh? You are the poster boy for the statement " Ignore ignorant people". Don't confuse the liberal dingbats with the facts, really messes with what mind they have. (or maybe don't have, on second thought) The Global warming looney-tunes can't even seem to get their lies straight in recent time. Think they've been a little busy thawing their frostbitten butt.

Global Warming and climate change isn't a hoax it's been going on for a few years now. I think since the world started. What is a hoax is that people are causing it. Global warming and ice ages was going on before man even walked earth. It's nothing more than a cycle the earth goes through. It happened before we were here and it's gonna happen after we're gone.

One of the things that I find the most amusing is that the people telling us that we are the cause of the planets imminent demise are often people driving V8 powered pick-ups, living in the country in three thousand square foot homes, making purchasing decisions based on what makes them happy, irregardless of their environmental impact.

HYPOCRISY?

There are a whole lot of us out here in the world who have always used common sense, because we want to be good stewarts, but don't preach a man made hoax, because of political persuasion.

Whats become abundantly clear as of late is that manipulating the data will convince some, but not all of the people.

To be honest, I no longer read any of the links you post, so I did not look at those. If I get "educated" it will be from elsewhere. Thank you though.
