It's about the children!

Do you know what your children do with their time? Maybe they are being encouraged to "get involved"? Ask them if they've ever heard of Generation We.

YouTube-Generation WE : The Movement Begins...

Is this the kind of thing that you want your children being taught? That they are more educated than you, their parents? Do you believe that your children are "progessives". Do you see that there are people in this country who want to use your children for political gain?

These people are going to get your children to step in line if you don't step in to stop it.

Soldier for Liberty-Generation We or Generation I for Indoctrinated?

I wouldn't know where to start on this.
But I do believe this thread will be very interesting.

Wouldn't it be nice to be young and idealistic again, like it was before you discovered reality?

This is really sickening. Our parents were far better educated than anyone today. They stuck to real learning. Not the rewritten history, ineffective math teaching, social behavior teaching and how to put on condoms taught today. And yet we pay more per child on education than anybody. And we get an inferior product.

I could only watch 2 minutes of that propaganda.

The last straw was when I heard him say "we live in the world's wealthiest nation". America is 12 trillion in debt, not including private debt of our citizens. Sadly, most Americans would fall for much of the 'information' in that video.

The world's wealthiest nation is China with almost 3 trillion dollars in reserves.

One half-truth was in the video though, "our educational system is failing." The whole truth would be *it has failed*.

Also notice how "progressive" is sold as positive. "War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength"--Ala, 1984

I had to finish watching the entire video out of curiosity. They actually think that gov't programs can solve our problems and create wealth and job growth. Such a pity youth is wasted on the young.

One would find it hard to argue with what these kids are asking for. What I would argue is exactly how they plan on fixing the current mess. (They conveniently don't mention that.) The current administration seems to believe that "taxing the rich" will solve all of our problems. I think they're about to find out the only ones they taxed were the middle class - and we're fed up with paying more and more. Oh by the way, when they tax us, they're taxing these kids. I wonder if the kids understand that? Nah, Obama forgot to tell them.

Not surprising since it seems most young kids now are all about themselves, I guess its appropriate they call themselves generation WE. Most of them are concerned with what someone will give them, not how they can earn what they want.
