Well my truck seen better days. The trucks engine is great shape. I bought the truck used, had no credit and my mom co signed for me. well with a bumper dented and scuffed up, bed is banged up a little, and alot of hail damage with a small blue dent in the rear bumper. the damage was done before i got the truck which was about or almost 2 years ago. Its How would i go about repairing this damage to make it look new? I want to fix it up cause its been a great truck and cant afford another one lol Thanks guys

Insurance will not fix pre-existing damage. That's fraudulent. You are on your own. Take it to a body shop and get an estimate and start from there.

My insurance company wanted to see my truck before they would issue a policy, and they also took pictures.

Paintless dent repair can take care of the hail damage, but the bumper will have to be replaced. I would have to see a picture of the bed to recommend anything.

Take it to multiple body shops and get them to quote you, haggle if need be.

Sounds like your looking at around 1,000 bones give or take from how I understand the damage.

First - How could you possibly have an idea of what the cost to fix would be. There's no real information on the damage.

Secondly - Good luck getting "how I understand the damage" fixed for $1000.00 through a shop.

You should be able to get new bumpers from a wrecked F150 at a junkyard for a decent price. Hopefully you can find chrome or black so you don't have to worry about painting them. Look into paintless dent repair like punisher suggested.

The hail damage will be covered under comprehensive, if you have it. You may also have a deductible.

One thing I can say is that if you tell them it is not an insurance claim or accident caused by you, it is usually 1/2 the price.

There's lots of ways and plenty of shops to weazle...
