With that thought I guess I should drive my 1974 F-100 and my 1936 International to the junk yard. If it was just at my house, I wouldn't be complaining. But it's effecting several hundred thousand people and dear old Uncle Sammy is saying screw you- it's yer problem. Just because they changed the frequency's doesn't mean that they should be able to screw up your equipment.
So It is time to do some upgrades to your radio that controls your garage door. If the door opener itself is in good shape, all you need to do is update the transmitter and receiver to a new narrow band radio. The FCC has had to do this because the demand for more channels on the limited amount of wave lengths has quadrupled in the past 20 years.
Those trucks didn't make it this long without maintenance. So now it's time to do some on the garage door opener.
