Snow and Rust
Guys, guys...need we get so technical? Just run down to your local drug store or Wally World or some similar store and buy a bottle of clear fingernail polish. Wash your car, locate the chipped spots and carefully apply a thin layer of clear nail polish to each spot. Don't glob it on, a thin layer will do. If you feel the need you can apply a second layer once the first is dry. Fingernail polish is a lacquer designed to protect fingernails daily wear and tear. When applied to metal, it acts the same way by protecting the metal from the elements.

pains me to have a car in such condition with chips and all, if I find a chip on my truck it takes me a few days to get over, and I'm really quick with the touch up paint. oh well.
Hit it with "etching" primer first, you must use "etching" primer on bare metal first, -then spray on some touch up or it will rust back thru quicker than it would if you left it alone. -Seriously, moisture will build between top coat and metal fast if the metal isn't treated/prepped first.
Etching Primer is sold everywhere touch up paint is sold. It will say "Etching Primer" right on the can.
