95 gt stang
So i bought this mustang from a friend who had it parked. He was going to put a E303 cam in it, so he took off the top half off, got stoped in his other mustang and got stuffed with fines, long story short..couldnt order the cam after all so the stang stayed with the top half off. BOOm i get the call ey im selling the car for 600, if you offer more i'll hold it, so i gave um 800 and the car is mine. the car itself is in good conditon, no frame damage the hood n bumper need to be replaced but least of my worries, it is the last year of the 5.0 till next year when its making its return
so yea i was debating weather to go 347 or 393, my uncle has a block ready for the 347 but then again i want to go faster. My dads friend has a 351 laying around so im thinking about picking it up and going 393 with a few bolt ons and sum juice. sooo yea. but right now waiting on income tax to do that, were having our track re-open soon so yea, its been closed for about 2 years so i miss the action. but heres a few pics of the $800 stang. i will be posting any updates so stay tuned

I'd stroke it. I might be easier to just drop in the 347 then the 351/393. Maybe a new, less yellow paint job.

The 95 Cobra R had a 351 in it. If I had the choice and money wasn't a sticking point, I would definitely do the 393. Nothing like the sound of a stroked 351. I have had a few mustangs in the past and am currently looking for another one.
You will be money and time ahead to build the 347 stoker. Unless you get newer 351, it won't be a roller block either... There is a lot more to change to get that 351 in there than you think, but if you do, you will love it! The torque curve is amazing on the 351 base motors!
Thanks for pointing out how big of an idiot I am.
I would love a Mustang with a 351 based motor in it. I think building a Cleveland motor would be neat, but they have reliablity problems from my understanding as the bottomend don't like to hold up to the RPM that the topend wants to let it spin to to get some good power.
I believe the Boss 351 used a Windsor based bottomend with a Cleveland topend, and it was a good reliable motor from my understanding.
Cleveland are pretty gutless down low, but pull like a raped ape up top and the like to spin some very high RPM's. Still with all the good heads from companies like Trick Flow, and AFR building a Cleveland might be a waste of money.
Have fun with your project!
