i need some ideas!!!

i just bought a 2007 ford f150 stx 4x4 supercab and i was wondering what kind of suspension lifts i would get that looks good and rides very smooth. i heard that i shouldnt go no highier than a 3 inch lift because the ride would be bad but idk so i need some ideas on lifts and tires for my truck so if u can help send your ideas to me.

I'd do a 3in body lift. I did a 3in BL, 35in Bf Goodrich Mud Terrain tires, and 17x9 helo maxx 6 wheels(all from different stores) for about $2,300. Me and my dad installed the BL and got a hook up from the tire store in town with the tires, mounting and balancing for I want to say $1200. I forget what I paid for the wheels, I want to say somewhere around $800, and the BL was about $300 or $200 I can't remember it's been a few years. But best advice is just look thru the photo albums here and see what everyone is running. Different people have different tastes. Look on 4wheelparts and see what they have to offer and go from there.
