Ohh, I was just kidden- Truck sounds better than that. Hell those things sound like the rubber-bands are wound to tight.

But you don't want to come to Michigan, - stay there, it's getting pretty ugly around here

Actually, that GT sounded an awful lot like my '08 Mustang -- it kind of surprised me, because I've never actually heard one before. That is one "glamour car" I'd love to have.....

That Porsche sounded like crap to me -- kind of sounded like a F1 car or other open-wheeled racer.

I wonder if that kid's dad knew he was out jacking with his cars while he and the wife went out for dinner......

I'm not impressed. I made the mistake of buying a Porsche Carrera GT a couple of years ago. That has to be the biggest POS on wheels. Yep, they are quick....when they run. Mine was in the shop more being fixed under warranty more than I had it. In 6 months time I had the car a total of 2 weeks. The rest of the time I was driving the Lincoln I traded in while they waited for parts. It finally laid down on me in Houston. I left it there, rented a car, and drove home and called my nephew. He's the absolute definition of slimball lawyer. He got me my Lincoln back and I assume they hauled their POS back from Houston. Don't know, don't care, but the fool working on it the last time I drove it out of the dealership told me" what'd ya expect, it's a Porsche!". I assume all Porsche's don't run long and require a tremendous amount of work to keep them running. Either way, there isn't a Porsche on this planet that will ever impress me again. Now I think of them as a high priced Yugo and only a brainless moron would have one.

The Carrera is a high revving V10, so it sounds quite different to what most of us are used to. As someone said, sound a lot like an F1 car. I like them both, one for it's pure American muscle, and the other because it's a Porshe supercar.

What year was your Carrera Labnerd?
