I know this, like I said it's the risk I take. Plain and simple. I wouldn't expect pity and or sympathy.

I do not normally post in threads like these but I have had enough of my tax money being given away while Americans are legitimatly in need of that money first.

so I saw on the news today, it was terrible (sarcasm) those poor hungry people (more sarcasm) were stealing piles and piles of clothing, alocohol, books, stereo's, and fighting with machetes/clubs... while they were fighting they were kicking food around on the ground as they were fighting over mounds of clothing and furniture...

and the rest were sitting "waiting for help" VS helping those trapped in the buildings, if an American can go there and use hand tools to dig someone out, then so can a Haitian who was born there...

President Obama stated that he was going to change the way the world thinks about the United States, so he gives 100 Million Dollars to Haiti; 100 Million Dollars would have done more good being dumped into the Economy of the United States or given back to the Tax payers of the United States in Muslim countries the United States is looked as a weak country because we always try to buy people off and give out way too much "aid" to countries that aren't gaining anything but developing the welfare 'give me' attitude that many Americans have devloped and we continue to encourage this attitude by allowing these substandard humans to abuse the system and live cradle to grave on tax payer dollars...

I really do not understand why the US is trying to help rebuild Haiti, it's such a useless worthless country, that even mother nature tried to demolish it. Isn't that telling us something? When they start making contributions to help heal the world, then maybe they may have my pity but they sit around waiting for help and handouts when really, they could start to help themselves.

yesterday, one of the CNN newsreporters stated, why are these haitian residents telling us they can not get thru all the rubble etc to help each other out and just sit around, but somehow newsreporters, who do not recieve any help and go there at their own risk find a way around all this...Makes you wonder... I am fed up with too many countries dependant on my tax dollars....

just my $0.02, if you have a problem please PM me and we can chat that way VS on the forum

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm glad someone sees it how I do. America needs to worry about its own problems. Let other countries around the world swoop in and do something about it. America needs to get itself back on track, especially that was the economy is, but with this idiot as president, I doubt it.
