Air Force guys chime in

what would you say to a new recruit that is wanting to go into the airforce? What is a good job that are high in demand at the moment and respect pipeline guys entering into that career? How do you feel about EOD or CCT's?

Is that career field just to refuel planes once they are on the ground right? I heard there was a demand for that. Is it just planes or all vehics?

No I am the mechanic POL is the ones who fill planes once they are one the ground they are starting at 25.75 a hr with experience. You can show him the national wage determination scale that will give him some ideas of what pay is once he is out. However to do LFM he has to score high mechanics on his testing

Don't pick Security Forces. Security/Cops don't make crap on the outside for the most part and the career field is pretty crappy to be in right now. 8 more years of this sh*t until I retire

If I could do it over I would have either gotten into computers/I.T. or the medical field. There are lots of good looking AF chics at the base hospitals I know a dude who is a x-ray tech. He works 7-3ish at his AF job and then works at one of the local hospitals 4 nights a week and he is making a killing.

A lot of what’s available to him will depend on his ASVAB scores.
