Bob Tasca Sr. RIP.

With regrets, I inform you that Ford lost an Icon Friday morning! Bob Tasca Sr. passed away at 83 Yrs. He was one of the most successful Ford Dealers in the country! He was actually offered a position with the Ford Motor Co. years ago by Henry Ford himself for his knowlege & inovation in the Ford Business world, but turned it down to concentrate on his family business located here in RI. My condolances to the family........RIP Bob Tasca Sr...

What a legend with the Ford brand. "Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday".

Rest In Peace.

The flags are at 1/2 mast on both dealerships! Alan Mually the CEO of Ford Motor Co., made a formal statement of condolance to the family that was read on the news here!
It's a sad time for the family & for all of us who have been to his family run dealership & have met him & knew him!......

I met Bob in 1984 at the dealership, when they had the '84 anniversary (20 years) for the Mustang. It was my first time at a show, and had entered my 68 notchback 390 in the show. He was a great guy- I had a picture taken with him and my car (which he had sold in '67 to my dad) and put it next to the pic of my dad and him, when dad bought the car. Rest in peace Bob....Ford has lost a friend.

RIP

Anyhow, any one notice how far off the ground that mustang is? Like a truck...

It's funny how cars have changed...

Lower to the ground does not equal speed...
