Watching Frazier at 11pm and the rain has just begun here in the ArkLaTex. Supposed to move thru tonight and turn to snow but not much accummulation. Still temps in the teens over the next couple days and winds 30-40mph mean some wicked wind chills - not exactly what we're used to in Louisiana!

Oh - and you guys are right - those Pirelli tires do flat spot in serious cold. Thought I'd warped a rotor today first few miles I drove. Fortunately I'm mounting a set of new Hankooks in the next day or two... depending on the weather.

Stay warm and Hook em Horns! Go Texas!

Supposed to get a dusting to 3" here tonight. Not enough to have fun with, but just enough to make tomorrow mornings commute pretty crappy.

Highest anywhere is southern TX. Cold, cold country right now. Even FL is below 50s.

They're finally calling for snow here, but it won't be much. I'll take what I can get.

Nasty weather here in KS for sure. December saw a record setting month for snow fall at 19 inches. Got another 3 or so last night. I can handle the snow it's the temps that are gonna get us now. Suppose to be 7 below tonight with -20 wind chill....

So I've got between 1/2 - 3/4" of snow. That's fine. The problem now is all of this stuff is starting to freeze, hard. High tomorrow isn't even going to touch 25. Heck, we won't be back above 30 until Monday. Ugh.

We've got 5+" on the ground right now. Already went out and plowed once this morning. Going out again in an hour or so.

Oh yea, and it's still coming down.
