Thinking of selling

Thinking of swapping the F150 for either a late 09 Mustang or new '10 model or maybe even a camaro.

Anybody here got the above your thoughts would be welcome. I love the truck but its got 90k miles and i don't really use it enough as a truck. I'm sure i can buy a rack for the three above for my Mountain bikes.

I don't think that way, but I'll post, -welcome or not. I like the way both of them look as far as cars go, but I'd have to stick with a truck regardless, -if I needed one or not.

I like the '10 shelby GT500, great vehicle for a stocker, why not compromise and stuff the GT500 motor into your truck, it's well worth it from what I've seen

If you don't have any other uses for your truck besides hauling your bikes then I say go for it. I love the 03 GT I just bought. I have only driven my truck once since buying the mustang. The car is a blast to drive and get's alot better fuel mileage. I have alway's like shifting my own gears so that's another reason why I like the car so much. The back seat doesn't provide much room for taller people but it will accomodate a car seat. The car does ride a little rougher than the truck, I blame that on the suspension mods and wide tires though. I've also had problems with the bottom of the car scraping going accross a couple railroad crossings also caused by the lowered suspension. I don't think you would have any of these problems with a bone stock car though. Good luck with your decision.

I bet your truck would be more fun if you could shift your own gears with that big 5.4l v8.

These automatics derate the potential of these truck's powerplants a lot.

My buddy has a '08 Frontier NISMO 4x4 with the 6 speed stick and the 4.0 VSQ engine (same one out of the 350z) and it's sick.

I hate how Ford went to all automatics.

I think you'd regret it. Just like Strikeswiftly mentioned above, you'll find more and more reasons that you need it. If it were me, I'd keep the truck and go for something older that's a little easier on the wallet to where having both would be do-able. Just my opinion though...

I love my 07 GT. I've had it about 6 months. I used to have a 2001 F150 Harley Davidson Supercrew. I rarely used my truck "as a truck." I do miss it when I want to go to Lowes to get stuff for the house or yard but my neighbor has a truck and I can use it whenever. Still havent had to use it yet. If you use your truck alot I wouldn't trade for a GT. Just maybe find and old fox body or 96 Cobra for cheap and keep the truck.

If you get a GT please get a manual transmission. It is sooooo much fun to drive!

I would go for it, just because I use my truck for daily driving, and another for actual truck work.
