If it were a short box truck I'd be interested in taking a crack at it at somewhat less than the asking price.....

One ford dealer here had a truck just like that, except the only difference was that it was two-tone, light blue on white.

They were peddling it for $15,000.

I couldn't help but shake my head. Retards.

Who in their right mind would pay $15,000 for a 14 year old truck!?!? You can get a 5 year old truck for that around here.

Someone who's looking for a very well preserved example of that classic bodystyle. A narrow market, for sure, but if you find a guy looking for that exact truck, you have to understand that there aren't many out there anymore that haven't been used and abused many times over after that many years......

I paid $4,000 for my 96 and it's in as good as shape as the white one I think. I mean it did have a scratch on the fender when I got it, but it wasn't rusting. But, it did have 130,000 miles on it when I got it.

Someday I will pick one up. I want a 95-97 reg F-250/350 7.3 long bed. I will prolly have to restore it, but this is one project I will do in my life time. They are my favorite truck ever made That body styling is so classic and still looks amazing to me.

I'd like to get another 78 or 79 F150 and restore it. Wish I would have kept the one I had.

That's nothing... I've got a perfect 2000 Dodge Dakota with a nice rare 4.7l v8, 3.92 rear LS, and the NV3500 5 speed... no rust at all.

Give it another 10 years in my garage and there still won't be no rust.

There was a guy in jersey who had a 96ish white single cab, 4x4, short bed always parked in his yard. This thing was soooooo clean. I kick myself for not asking him if he had a price for it. I always saw it in the same spot, and I wanted it more and more every time I drove by. Beautiful

I paid $14,700 for my '06 Supercab XLT 4x4 in February with 48k on it and nothing at all wrong with it.

Ive always been the type to get as new of a vehicle I can with what Ive got to spend, not something old just because its clean.

That's how I am too. If I had extra cash to be throwing around then it'd be a different story.

The red crew cab looked awesome on those boggers! Not sure if it's worth 18k though.
I am a little biased though.....

Don't drive it when there's salt on the roads. If so it will rust year round with the salt sitting on the undercarriage.
