I honestly think thats not in his complete control... SS should be on its own covering HIM, not the other way around... sure he can request more or less security, but the base line has to be set by SS... someone ELSE isn't doing their job duties to their full potential if more people are let in or pushed into higher security areas.

Both...incompetent and stupid. I willing to bet that Jimmy Carter never would of dreamed that someone would come along and be worse than him. He can die in peace now knowing that he passed the torch to Obama for being worse than he was.

I didn't read the artical, but can't we just conclude that this is the fault of Bush and the republicans? You know, the usual excuse.

Yeah, we all know there ain't no such thing as historical perspective, or continuum in an office. Everyone starts from scratch each term, zero based budget concept. That's the way our country's built, no checks and balances, once a new person becomes the Chief, everything and everybody beginnings anew enacting his/her ideals and direction.

I didn't read the link either!

No need for historical perspective. No need to fill in a blank. The answer is: Bush and the republicans.

While making my lunch this morning a slice of cheese fell on the floor. Why? Bush and the republicans.

An eight year old boy in Taunton, MA was suspended from school because his teacher found his drawing offensive and disturbing. Why? Bush and the republicans.

Joseph Stalin killed somewhere between 20 and 43 million people. Why? Bush and the republicans.

I'll bet Harvey and Paula Darden, the people in the artical that I've now read, are really corrupt, corporate, hate mongering, fascist, right wing, neo-con, republicans. Why? Fill in the blank.

wittom,
I read the thread again to find out who injected Bush and the republicans into the the argument and discovered, it was you.
When I read your link, nowhere was Bush or the republicans mentioned.

I'm beginning to suspect you are suffering from a poor attitude and for that I blame....

....Bush and the republicans.

When you bring up Palin, it should be: "Would McCain and Palin do any better ?"
