Try wiping it off with carb cleaner or thinner. Just don't let it soak.

Yep I found out the hard way when I removed mine. It took the paint off my dash and the disk was ruined. The only idea I have is to try a heat gun. Put it on the lowest setting and try not melt your dash but it may heat the sticky stuff enough that it will peel right off without leaving any residue or ruin the disk.

what's a suction cup disk? is it like a circular pad that you stick to your dash so a gps suction cup can stick to it? if it is then why don't you just stick the gps to the windsheild or somewhere on some flat trim like on the ashtray door

i think i would be more inclined to take a x-acto knife and just saw it back and forth through the glue til the disc comes off. as for the residue left on the dash peel off what u can and then use a chemical to get the rest off.

and now that uve learnt your lesson u can throw the disc away and stick it to your windshield

Try fishing line wrapped around a couple of dowels. Place the dowels in your fists with the line daunt between them. (I actually drilled a small hole in the dowels and tied the fishing line off, then wrapped several loops of the line around each dowel. Kinda like dental floss on your finger.) A sawing motion back and forth will remove the disk and leave a residue behind. Several options for the cleaners to use on the residue. I think it will still leave a discolored spot.
