GPS owners..

Those of you with GPS in your truck.. do you have trouble viewing the GPS while wearing polarized sunglasses? I have some, and i can barely make out the display on my Alpine CD player.. i am looking at a Garmin 765T as Merry Christmas to me.. just curious if the display will be a problem..

Thanks!:o

I strongly suggest the Tom Tom. They are much cheaper! You can get a 340s for $135. It has that new lane change guidance feature in 3d, and it will tell you street names to turn on. The 340s is also a 4.3 wide screen so it should be easy to see!

Use sunglasses with my Magellan.
I just noticed last night that the background goes from lite blue to black at night.
I like the black background better, made the colored roads really jump out.
It must have some kind of day/night sensor on it somewhere.

Yes you should have trouble viewing electronic screens. Dont believe me? If you have a set of polarized lenses, look at your cell phone, if you can read it ok the turn it sideways, if you can still read it ok, they aren't really polarized.

I have a set of Oakleys P. and I forget all the time and when I look at my phone I'm like WTF?

BTW, they GPS clock is timed to the satellite so it does know day vs night and switches. I like the black background better.

Hey, my Magellan Roadmate didn't even get ranked!
Any tool is only as good as it's user.
Every command my Magellan gives me is followed shortly by, "...re-calculating route".
