Those are some good shots for a "crappy" Casio Derek! I wish I had rented the lens I messed around with yesterday and last night a day earlier because it would have created some rather interesting shots for us. I think I'm in love with wide angle lenses now. Looks like I might have found the way to spend my Christmas money. :o

Haha. Any lens would be worth the money. A wide angle or a decent telephoto will work wonders on some shots.

I think the best one of the day was the 3rd picture I posted. It just looks

I had a telephoto with me but I never took it out of the case. Yea I don't think I'll be able to buy as nice of a wide angle as I rented but I'm for sure going to have to buy one. Especially after looking at some of the pics I came up with after they were "tweaked."

I REALLY like that 6th one, and the 4th one is nice as well with the reflection off the wall.

Off brand lenses are just as good as name brand, FWIW.

I thought I sent out PM's to all the local guys but I guess I didn't see you. Anyway, check the regional forum I made a thread there for it.

It's still a big brand but without the price tag of what Canon wants for it's 10-22mm. Right now Sigma's version looks pretty good to me.
