not true. you only have to be 21 to buy from a licensed dealer. not illegal to buy from a private seller as long as you are at least 18. you can also legally carry a handgun in your vehicle if you are over the age of 18 and the weapon is not in plain view.

edit: all this is true provided that you are legally able to own a firearm.

wouldnt that be a concealed handgun then?

im leagally able to own a firearm..but ive heard you CANT have a handgun on/with you if you are under 21

25' Tow Strap
Ratchet straps(assorted lengths)
Jumper cables
2 cans of Fix-a-flat
Heavy work gloves
"Lock-out" kit (the complete kit for various vehicles)
(I keep all of that in the 2 storage compartments behind the rear seats)

In the Rear Console,a DC to AC converter.
In the Front Console,cd's
Drivers door pocket-Large Mag-Lite,Vice Grips and shop rags.

Concealed in a vehicle, and concealed on persons body is 2 completely different things, in MO anyway...

various shotgun shells- from a couple boxes of dove/target loads up to 3-1/2" black cloud goose loads and 3" slugs, you could say the season is in full swing

In The Cab:

GPS (not the directional one), Surefire Rechargable, surefire LED, surefire incandesent, mag-lite led 3C, maglite 3 AA, extra batteries for all flashlights, work gloves, cold weather gloves, linesman pliers, wire ties, screw driver multi kit, larger knife, cologne, pistol (xdm .40) when not parking on campus, ar15 or m4 .22 usually with me, work boots, socks, voltage light, jacket, Frogg Toggs (rain gear), shot glasses, binoculars, spot light, video camera, digital camera, phone chargers, extra phone batteries, crackers and water bottles, my macbook, Verizon MiFi (my trucks own wifi hotspot lol), OBDII code reader, lighter, lighter fluid, a few DVD's, hats, wire strippers, fuses, a couple 100 rounds of .22, .17, .223, 12 gauge ammo

In my bed:
Craftsman 150pc tool kit, 30,000lb recovery strap, jumper cables, rubber boots, recovery accessories, every truck cleaning supply known to man, a collapsible lawn chair in a bag, cooler, little propane grill w/ propane, random trash, wire accessories (wire, connectors, etc), another spot light, etc

There is probably a bunch im forgetting. My truck is always ready for what ever is thrown at it.
